Titles can be deceiving. Instead of being at the beach with my family this week (we were suppose to leave this morning), this is what my view is...

Going on day 4 of being sick now  And since I'm so generous, it looks like I've passed it on to Brandon too. So instead of enjoying the warm weather and the beach, I guess I'll just enjoy binge watching TV.

Thanks to Brandon's aunt and uncle for letting us stay with them so we could visit D.C.

We got there at the perfect time to watch the changing of the guard and the changing of the wreath.

By the end of the day, we were exhausted. And my Fitbit was there to tell me how truly exhausted we were...

Date night over bowling.

Bowling night over at the Ragland's! And to make it even better, Thursday night is Ladies Night at our local bowling alley, which means ladies get in for free. Holla! 

We haven't been bowling in a while and I forgot how much fun it is, even when your husband kicks your butt. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to force Brandon into doing a weekly date night over bowling. Plus, I need redemption after losing both games. 

Date night under $10, nothing gets better than that. 

An early birthday present.

Can I just say that a perk of living on the east coast is that everything gets shipped to you faster. Brandon's birthday present wasn't suppose to come until next Thursday, but suprise, it came early!

Why did I give him his present a month early? So he has more time to learn how to play so he can serenade me on our anniversary. ;) But really, because he keeps saying he is going to get one and since I didn't want that to happen, he got it early.
